About POD Logistics
In 2019, we added our second terminal in Kansas City, MO. 2020 was a difficult year, but that didn't stop us from adding a new dispatch center in Dallas to serve the local Dallas area.
In Amarillo, we also offer 3PL and warehousing services in our 30,000 square foot warehouse with cold storage.
Meet The Team
President & CEO
In 2010 I joined AJ Hollander Enterprises as the Chief Operating Officer and one of my responsibilities was to manage the in-house trucking operations. At the time, we had three trucks, and we eventually had as many as ten trucks. In 2017, Gerardo approached me about opening a stand-alone trucking company. With my background in managing trucks and in dealing with intermodal shipments for our hide company, I thought it was a good idea. We have grown to 25 trucks in three years without any salesmen. That's because our philosophy is to offer good service at a fair price and let the sales take care of themselves. I feel very blessed to have been able to hire such great people to work with. They are the reason for our success.
Started in the Transportation field in 1991 as a truck driver. After 20 yrs of driving I got off the road went back to school. in 2010 I helped build a small trucking company called KCL in Kansas City from 1 truck to 20+. I came aboard with POD in January of 2020 in Kansas City and have helped build this terminal from 5 drivers to 14.
Safety & Vehicle Coordinator
I have worked for several state agencies for the past 20 years. I have been a commercial driver examiner. I have dealt with the IRP program for over 10 years and have over 7 years of experience of transferring titles. I’m excited to step into the position of being the Safety & Vehicle Coordinator. I grew up here in Texas and have lived in the suburbs of Chicago, the Tidewater area of Virginia, and overseas. Even though I am new to POD Logistics, I come with lots of excitement to learn this other side of the trucking industry. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to bring my areas of expertise to POD Logistics.
Assistant Terminal Manager - KC
I learned about logistics by serving five years in the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller. My trucking career began in 2013 as a dispatcher for a KC drayage company among other capacities. In 2020, I joined POD as a dispatcher. In 2021, I was promoted to Assistant Terminal Manager and now I have responsibility for all day-to-day dispatching of trucks.
Dispatcher - KC
I have been working in the transportation industry since the 90’s, but I grew up around trucks. I started working in intermodal in 2012, and I was hooked. I enjoy the constant changes of this industry. I have held various positions in this industry, but I enjoy dispatching the most, due to the daily interactions with the drivers. I have worked intermodal in Kansas City and in Memphis, TN. I am pleased to join the team here in Kansas City as a dispatcher and I am looking forward to helping the terminal grow.
Dispatcher - Dallas
My introduction into the transportation industry began in 2019 as a dispatcher for an intermodal trucking company in Alliance, TX. I really enjoy dispatching from the busy work of tracking and planning to being able to communicate and assist drivers. I joined POD in January of 2022 and I'm excited to help manage the Dallas terminal.
